Six kinds of diesel work, one bay
Amet Diesel is one workshop in Tinana, and the work that comes through it is not one kind of job. Heavy trucks, commercial fleets, civil and earthmoving plant, Toyota 4x4s, auto electrical and air conditioning, and mobile lifting equipment are all booked into the same place. The page you are on is the index. Each of those six has its own page, and the detail of the work lives there. The cards below are the way in. They are not a second copy of those pages.
The workshop is at 2/24 Iindah Road West, Tinana QLD 4650. Most of the work is done in that bay. Heavy repairs, fleet services, Toyota 4×4 work, and electrical and air-conditioning jobs are booked in. Civil plant and elevated equipment can also be done beside the machine, when taking it off the job is the larger problem. A heavy truck that has already stopped is a breakdown call, which is a different booking from a service that was planned.
Two facts sit with the whole workshop, not with a single card. Amet Diesel is the local service and repair agent for Hyundai trucks, so Hyundai servicing and repair is done here rather than sent on. The workshop is also an approved inspection station, so a truck that is already in can be inspected before it leaves. Those two are explained together further down this page. The heavy vehicle page goes into each one on its own.
How you book depends on the job. A fleet is booked around the days the vehicles can leave the roster. A truck that is stopped today is a phone call to (07) 4123 5246, not a form. A repair you can plan goes through the quote page, with the vehicle and what it needs. Open the card that matches the machine in front of you. If you are not sure which page it is, call the workshop and say what the vehicle is and what it is doing.

Where it happens
Bay work, and work on the machine
Not every job belongs in the same place. Heavy trucks, fleet services, Toyota 4x4s, and electrical and air-conditioning work are booked into the Tinana bay. That is where the hoist is, where the diagnostic work is done, and where an air-conditioning system can be tested rather than guessed at. A truck or a 4×4 that can be driven in should come to 2/24 Iindah Road West. The repair stays there until it is finished.
Civil plant and elevated equipment are different. An excavator, a scraper, or a scissor lift is often more useful left where it is working. Those jobs can be done beside the machine. The workshop is still behind that visit. If the repair needs the bench, the component comes back to Tinana. If it can be finished in the field, it stays in the field. The civil page and the mobile lifting page say which of those jobs are done on site.
A heavy truck that has already stopped is not a planned service. It is a breakdown. The same workshop answers that call. You do not hand the truck to a separate roadside company and then bring it here later for the repair that the breakdown only started. Ring (07) 4123 5246 when the truck is down. The quote form is for work that can wait for a reply.
When you are choosing a page, start with where the machine is. If it can come to the bay, it is workshop work: heavy vehicle, fleet, 4×4, or auto electrical. If it should stay on the job, it is civil plant or elevated equipment, and we will say whether that particular unit is a field job or a bay job. The address, the phone, and the six services are the whole of this decision. The rest is on the page that matches the machine.
Hyundai and inspections
Agent for the trucks, station for the inspection
Amet Diesel is the local service and repair agent for Hyundai trucks. Servicing and repair of those trucks is done in this bay at Tinana. You do not split one Hyundai between this workshop for the hard work and another dealer for the ordinary service. The agency means the truck is booked here. That is a fact about the workshop, not a separate business.
The same workshop is an approved inspection station. A truck that is already in for repair can be inspected before it goes back to work. The inspection is not a second trip to another yard after the repair is finished. For a fleet, that matters. The truck is off the road once, for the work and for the inspection, rather than twice.
These two facts belong together on this page because they apply across the heavy vehicle work, not only to one job. The heavy vehicle page is where each of them is spelled out: what the bay does, what a breakdown is, and how fault finding is done before parts are fitted. This section is only the pairing. Hyundai trucks are serviced here. Inspections are done here. Both are at 2/24 Iindah Road West.
If the truck is a Hyundai and it is due, book it as a heavy vehicle or as part of a fleet, depending on whether it is one truck or a roster. If it also needs an inspection, say so when you book. If it has stopped and cannot be driven in, that is a breakdown and the number is (07) 4123 5246. The quote page is for a planned job. The heavy vehicle page is for the detail of the work itself.

Booking
Schedule, breakdown, or a planned quote
There are three ways into the workshop, and they are not interchangeable. A fleet is booked around the roster. A truck that has already stopped is a phone call. A repair you can plan is a quote. Using the wrong one wastes the day the vehicle is off the road, or leaves a stopped truck waiting on a form.
A fleet booking starts with the vehicles and the days they can leave the job. Government fleets and owner-operators are both booked this way. The Commercial Fleets page is where that schedule is explained. Send the list of what is due and when each unit can be spared. We fit the bay to those days. We do not ask the whole fleet to arrive on one morning.
A truck that is stopped today should not go through a form. Ring (07) 4123 5246. The breakdown service is part of the heavy vehicle work. The same workshop that would have taken the truck on the hoist goes to the truck if it cannot come in. A quote request sent in the afternoon does not put someone on the road that afternoon.
A planned repair is the quote page. Name the vehicle or the fleet, name the service, and say whether the work is in the workshop, on site, or a breakdown you already know is coming. We read it and we ring the number you leave. Use that path for a service, a 4×4 being set up for a trip, an air-conditioning fault that is not an emergency, or a machine that can wait. If you are unsure which of the three paths you are on, you are on the phone path.
